The o...Probably one of the greatest episodes ever. <BR/><BR/>The only thing that grates on me about that episode is in the final scene, after Homer is beaned, Lisa says, regarding the bean-ball: "No, Mom, it counts as a hit! Dad won the game!" <BR/><BR/>In point of fact, a hit-by-pitch does not count as a hit, it counts as a hit-by-pitch. While Homer would have been given credit for the game-winning RBI, per MLB rule 10.04(a)(2), and the HBP would have increased his OBP, it would not have counted as a hit.
