The Great Thirdbasemen Challenge

So, the Cards decided that they had enough of Rolen and had to get rid of him. They could not break camp with the LaRussa and Rolen having to pretend to like each other. This whole situation shows everyone that LaRussa is just barely removed from highschool mentally...no matter how old he is. Regardless, the Cards sent Rolento Toronto for Troy Glaus setting the stage for (cue Mortal Combat music in the background) The Great ThirdBasemen Challenge........

Status
Scott Rolen 14 games, 1 error, 29 AB, 10 H, 1 HR, .345 avg/.457 obp/.621 slg................and ok 1 rbi. Rolen is out at least through opening day since fracturing his middle finger and having a screw placed in it for the next 14 days.
Troy Glaus 19 games, 0 errors, 51 AB, 19 H, 1 HR, .373.484/.549.....................................................................................................................................................................1 rbi
Glaus was expected to miss the next two game due to a stiff back, but he Favred through it and played today.

I think its ironic, not sure how but it somehow has to be, that Rolen broke his middle finger and to top it off had to have a screw placed in it. Take that LaRussa.
Glaus takes the early lead on the field, but Rolen takes a decisive lead in genius ways in how to tell your old boss to screw off.
