"This is the time of year when Americans make a sincere effort to care about the World Series, which determines which baseball team will be the champion of the entire world, except for the part of the world located outside the United States and southeastern Canada." - Dave Barry

This ain't a scene...
it's an arms race. Sorry for the Fallout Boy reference. The NL Central is the AL East of recent past. It is hands-down the toughest division in baseball...and just got a bit more difficult. The Brewers picked up C.C. Sabathia yesterday. Good call, Runningman. You knew that the 'Crew had the prospects to satisfy the Indians. Today the Cubs picked up Rich Harden from the A's. I was skeptical that the Cubs could pry Harden from the A's. If you have ever read Moneyball, you will know what I am talking about. Both pitchers come with question marks. Will C.C. return to Cy Young form? Can Harden stay healthy? In all this mayhem, the Cardinals are holding tight...for now. Your move Redbirds.

Ha, Ha sucker we already made our move, we added Mark Mulder to the rotation and Chris Carpenter was approved to start playing catch.
